Drawn on black Fabriano paper with Derwent coloured pencils, its strokes ripple like leaves in sunlight, like breath meeting breath.

Stitched accents glimmer along its edges, tracing a path of tenderness, of readiness. This 20 x 20 cm drawing, a fragment of The Tree of Heart, was created for the Two Little Hearts charity event in Strasbourg, supporting flood victims in Dolina Kłodzka. Framed in black or white, the heart stands alone yet never isolated—radiant, receptive, and quietly powerful.

It is a symbol of care offered freely, of art transformed into embrace. In its simplicity lies its strength: one heart, open to many.
