My artistic approach
In my abstract and poetic compositions, black " Fabriano" paper becomes a stage on which, between thread and movement, an intimate choreography is created, "a pas de deux" between hand and material that freezes the ephemeral gesture into a lasting trace.
My style can be described as abstract and organic.
I do not deliberately choose my subjects and themes; they are suggested by the colours and shapes of the recycled threads I use and work with #FilsFreeTechnique.
My creative process is centred on instinct and intuition.
I recover recycled threads from my old batiks and consider them as performers; I arrange them intuitively on the dark stage, guided by their texture, direction and rhythm.
When the composition feels right, I assemble it with discreet stitches, slow gestures that stabilise the dance without freezing it.
The interpretation of my work is left to the discretion of the viewer.
The tension between movement and fixation aims to make the vitality of organic forms palpable and invites the eye to follow the pulsation of the threads.
My art is an invitation to feel and perceive movement, to immerse yourself in an abstract landscape where organic forms come to life.
