" Extended_Mapping 3_Blue-Yellowish 1" stages a vibrant choreography of colour, texture, and form : a dense central knot of turquoise, cobalt and lime threads unravels into looping strands, while spattered yellow stitches punctuate the movement like sudden cues.

The velvety black Fabriano paper acts as a dark stage where hand-stitched tensions create layered relief and shifting shadows, inviting the eye to trace each filament’s passage.

Texture is the work’s language — overlapping loops, varied thread thicknesses and occasional frayed edges compose a tactile score that rewards close looking.

Form alternates between compressed density and outward-reaching gestures, balancing concentrated energy with airy extensions.

In a way, this composition corresponds to my spatial experiences during my walks : either I followed the trodden paths or the overgrown ones

Rooted in recycled fibres, the piece reads as a small-format performance: threads as performers, stitches as beats, negative space as silent stage.
