"Extended_ Mapping 2_Turquoise Blue  "explores colour, texture, and form through a luminous knot of turquoise, aqua and lime-green threads set against a deep black Fabriano ground.

The composition reads like a living map: a dense central cluster of interwoven strands that fans into finer radiating filaments, suggesting both neural networks and tidal currents.

Texture is sculpted by hand-stitched tensions — overlapping loops, varied thread thicknesses and subtle shadowing on the matte paper that invite close, tactile looking. Form balances chaos and architecture; the compact core anchors delicate linear extensions that create a sense of movement and connection.

During pandemic times, when everything seemed so uncertain, concentreting on a small yet complicated detail helped me with overcoming the every day stressful situations.

The handwritten signature and date at the lower left add a personal, archival note that grounds the work in time. 

Extended_ Mapping 2_Turquoise Blue offers to an interior a micro-stage where contrast and texture perform an intimate duet; recycled fibres become dancer-cartographers, tracing choreographies of colour and quietly celebrating the handcrafted complexity of each stitched gesture.
