This heart does not stand alone—it stretches.

Pulled between two companions, it glows in violet, textured with Derwent strokes and stitched sparks.

On black Fabriano paper, the composition unfolds like a silent tug-of-war: one heart reaching forward, another holding back, and the violet one suspended in between. Created for the Two Little Hearts charity event in Strasbourg, this 20 x 20 cm drawing is a fragment of The Tree of Heart, now transformed into a gesture of emotional balance.

The stitches trace tension and tenderness, while the colours speak of connection, distance, and the beauty of being in-between.

Framed in black or white, the artwork becomes a quiet choreography—a heart stretched, but not torn.
