A Little Trio of Hearts in Green 2025

Three hearts, nestled side by side, pulse in shades of green—each one a leaf, a breath, a quiet promise.

Drawn on black Fabriano paper with Derwent coloured pencils, their contours shimmer with stitched accents, like veins of light threading through a forest.

This 20 x 20 cm drawing, a fragment of The Tree of Heart, was created for the Two Little Hearts charity event in Strasbourg, supporting flood victims in Dolina Kłodzka. The trio speaks of unity: three gestures, one intention.

The stitches scatter around one of the heart like the small sparkles full of hope, bringing connection between these who suffered and those who care.

Framed in black, this composition becomes a small sanctuary, a green echo of resilience. It is a drawing, yes—but also a gathering, a trio of hearts beating in time with hope.
