Souffle d’Alladin inaugurates the Qi–Danse collection with a sweeping gesture of liberation.

It is the first large-scale composition created using Olka Schok’s signature “fils-free” technique—a choreography of reclaimed threads attached to the surface of paper with some stiches.

Threads twist, hover, and cascade across a black stage, tracing invisible currents like a dancer responding to wind.

The work evokes the swirling breath of a genie released from confinement: fluid, unpredictable, and luminous.

This composition was a real challange : with longer threads, on bigger space than usual - it took a three weeks of creation before presenting it during the "Empreinte" Exhibition in Fort Kléber, Wolfisheim.

This piece marks a turning point in Olka’s practice, where scale became a partner in motion and emptiness a collaborator in form.

Every curve and tangle speaks of exploration—of how to inhabit a vast surface without losing intimacy.

Souffle d’Alladin is not just a composition; it is a breath held, then released, inviting the viewer to follow its rhythm and imagine their own silent dance within its contours.
